Rockie Thomas
Co-Founder/Operations

Rockie is the new up and coming bread in the emerging online radio industry, understanding the true meaning of media convergence. Her previous integrated media experience includes time with NRC Broadcasting, Emmis Communications and AMFM/Chancellor Media in Denver overseeing all internet strategies for these stations. Ms. Thomas has also spent considerable amount of time with Internet only companies such as iM Networks/Sonicbox and XACT Radio. This unique traditional versus digital experience gives her clients an unparallel perspective of the strengths of both types of media. She’s been on a computer since she was 8, and has been involved in the online community since BBS’s and 2400 baud modems. She started college at 15 on a full music scholarship for bassoon and holds degrees in Music Performance and Education from the University of South Florida.

Sean Rom
Co-Founder/Technology

Sean's diverse background makes him invaluable to ChroniX clients, easily describing the most intricate process in a language digestible to every level of user. During the past 6 years, Sean focus has been helping radio station operators understand the inner working of technologies such as streaming media, media integration, streaming automation software, ad insertion technologies and media networking over small and large enterprises. Sean works daily with integration of multiple streaming formats and metadata over various encoding technologies. His forte is data extrapolation and integration through ‘creative’ engineering. Sean's background includes network engineering, administration and corporate intranets with streaming medias and on-demand content along with systems development. Sean has also worked with terrestrial radio through developing website applications for KALC, KXPK, KIMN, KDJM and KXKL in Denver. He crossed over to streaming media through his work with iM Networks and Spacial Audio Solutions. Sean also runs a top Internet radio station called, Chronix Radio, with a very large global audience, is equal to a FM station in US market 26. Sean holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting with a minor Computer Information Science from Tampa University.
